New Years Resolutions

My 2016 Vision Board
Is anyone else in shock that 2016 is less than 2 weeks away? Where did the time go?!
This year has been amazing for me and it's bittersweet to see it go.
With the New Year fast approaching there's the pressure to have a resolution to either get in shape, quit smoking, save money, eat healthier.... I could go on. But these are just the ones advertisements looooove to suck you into and make you feel like you have to have these resolutions to have a better life.
Wrong, sort of.
Yes, you should work on bettering your health but don't aim to be skinny or lose those 5 pounds. You'll drive yourself crazy. Instead, go deeper into your health goal.
Why do you want to be healthy?
Do you want to feel confident? 
Do you want to love yourself more? 
Do you want to be a fitness trainer? Ex: SoulCycle, Zumba, Kick Boxing?

Let's get outside the topic of fitness.
What about being a better friend to others?
Do you need to show better appreciation and respect to your friends?
Do you want to spend more time with family? 
Changing careers?
Starting your own business? 

These are many great options to try and do for the year of 2016 but how do you get from where you are now reading this to the final result? Working backward and understanding it will be a slow process. Success doesn't happen overnight darling. You have to actually work your ass off to reach that dream. 
Break it down by setting milestones. Have goals you want to achieve after a week, a month, 3 months and a year. 
In order to get to "Z" today you need to start doing "A".
Start by researching what it is you want to do.
Do you need to buy a domain name? 
Do you need to get certified? 
Do you need a life coach to better help you on a deeper level?

These are all the questions you need to start at "A" to get to "Z". Don't rush making it to the end. Enjoy the experience of growing and seeing how far you've gotten after each milestone. 

Need a way to stay motivated? 
Create a vision board to help reach these goals and hang them up where you can always see them. You will be in shock at how often those things work after a few short weeks or months. I made my first one a few months ago and within two months I had most of the things I wanted in my life.
A new job and my own apartment that I could actually afford!
